We now have two design teams at Teddy Bo since we got all our new members and this weeks challenge is being hosted by Team B, but some members of the A Team wanted to join in too, so we decided to show off our stuff today, (you can read about the shenanigans we got up to so that we could join in the challenge here).
I decided to make a couple of Christmas decorations
The silver snowflake paper from the Clipart fairy is printed onto pearl paper so that it looks all shimmery. I cut the paper into strips, stuck them together, punched the edges with a Martha Stewart punch and then concertina'ed (!?!?!?!) the strips to make my decoration. I used some Go Kreate dies to make the toppers, coloured TeddyBea_109 in photoshop, and paper pieced her dress with a lilac snowflake paper from the same set. I used "hairy" glitter (so named by my grandson because it's little strands rather than dust)to make her tinsel headress, and some Marianne Creatables and Sizzix dies for the Poinsettia and swirls.
The large decoration measures approximately 7 inches across and the smaller one about four.
I am going to enter my decorations in the following challenges;
For Fun Challenges - Christmas
Paper Shelter Challenge - #20 anything goes
Truly Scrumptious - #60 things with wings
Going Grey With Scrap-Creations - Anything But A Card
Ladybug Crafts Ink TLT Challenge - Christmas In June, + Blog Hop
There She Goes - use at least 2 different dies or punches
